The story of DryLINE
DryLINE Waders have been handcrafted in New Zealand for over 16 years. Originally manufactured by Canterbury Wetsuits – a company well known in New Zealand for quality wetsuits and surfing gear – the DryLINE brand and unique pattern was sold so they could concentrate on making wetsuits.
Streamside Sports purchased the DryLINE brand and pattern, and now focus on making quality, durable sports waders for the New Zealand market - a market of extreme conditions and a culture of sports people known for being hard on their equipment! Their waders are so durable that more and more tradespeople are also buying them and have taken a liking to the made to measure service Streamside Sports offers all their wearers.
At the start of 2005, the management of Streamside Sports decided to add Breathable waders to their range of neoprene waders. Because their breathable waders need to live up to the DryLINE reputation put in place a decade and a half ago, it has taken 18 months of exhaustive design and testing until finally Streamside Sports have released the DryLINE Breathable Wader. The first and only company to design and manufacture breathable waders in New Zealand, reaffirming Streamside Sports and it’s DryLINE brand, as New Zealand’s leading wader manufacturer.
